THE CONCERT

St Margaret’s Hall is the venue for BoA Folk Club’s free all day concert where you will hear some of the area’s best singers and musicians in seven 45-minute performances from 10am to 3.30pm. It’s all free so drop in and out as you want.

The Stage cafe will serve hot and cold drinks, alcoholic drinks and snacks.

CONCERT LINE UP (We’ve kept the 2020 line up for now)

10.30: Jazz Factory: There’s something for everyone at the Jazz Factory. From historical roots to contemporary avant-garde, from hot to cool, from swing to soul – the great composers, vocalists, soloists. A great way to kick off the day.

11.15: Whistling Treason: Song, tenor guitar, banjo and fiddle from Nell Farrally and Kris Malarchist. Kris has played countless major festivals across Britain and Europe, including Glastonbury & Womad. This is fireside folk done right. .

12.00: Andrew Bazeley:   Bradford on Avon’s very own Blues Man keeping the old blues alive!
Delta Blues, Memphis Blues, Country Blues, Bottleneck Blues and more. You won’t want to leave…

12.45: Fly Yeti Fly: An acoustic duo with sensitive vocal harmonies and intricate guitar, mandolin and harmonica arrangements. They weave magical songs and stories from their travels together. It’s simple – don’t miss them.

1.30: Manu: Solo acoustic singer-guitarist Manu is an experienced professional musician from Hampshire. Check out his version of Moondance. Call in, sit down, chill out.

2.00: Towpath Shanty Singers: Powerful voices, rousing choruses, infectious singing – if you haven’t seen them before, don’t miss them now. They should call themselves Standing Room Only.

2.45: Drum Together: A group of djembe and dundun drummers from the Frome area. Hypnotic rhythms.
