Folk Club Stage


St Margaret’s Hall is the venue for BoA Folk Club’s free all day concert where you will hear some of the area’s best singers and musicians in six 45-minute performances. It’s all free so drop in and out as you want.

10.30 Alan Hinds (MC) a local singer song writer who is a regular at the Bradford Folk Club and ran the club for some 30 years.


11.15  Sandy and Graham Ball Sandy and Graham perform a broad repertoire of traditional and contemporary songs, as well as songs that Sandy herself has written. Graham is renowned for his subtle accompaniments on guitar, mandolin and cittern, and Sandy is a highly regarded singer. Together they create a spellbinding musical experience that appeals to a wide range of audiences.

12.00 Andrew Bazeley BoA’s very own bluesman par excellence.


12.45 The Water Thieves are Sarah Walters, Sophy Williams and Simon Taylor. They sing 1930s close harmony jazz inspired by New Orleans Boswell Sisters. be prepared for unusual percussion, clarinet and guitar and, of course, three voices.

1.30 Andy Popplestone singer/guitarist whose music is an eclectic mix from North and South of the border.


2.15 Jackie and Felix Bryne, 20 odd years in the making, present a well honed and subtle blend of beautiful harmonies with piano and guitar, not to be missed.
