We’ll have at least five outdoor “Busking Stops” around the town centre from 10.30am to 4.30pm, and at least two at the Tithe Barn from 1.30pm. Our buskers will circulate around them so there should be regular performances although they are weather dependant. Buskers are all performing free of charge so please show your appreciation if they pass the hat round.
Apart from The Stumble Inn, all venues are outdoors:
- The Stumble Inn – inside venue!
- Outside The Bolthole Cafe in The Shambles
- Millie Millennium Statue (opposite Westbury Gardens)
- Next to the Tourist Information Office in Westbury Gardens
- Outside the entrance to Holy Trinity Church
- Tithe Barm Workshops, in front of Jill in the Green’s Bower and Vixey’s Cafe: half hour gigs staring at 2pm , 2.30pm, 3pm and 4pm.
- Tithe Barn, two spots, one between the main doors and one outside the cafe 1.30pm to 2pm, approx 2.30pm to 3pm and approx 3.30pm to 4pm
Busking spots are open to musicians, poets, jugglers, in short anyone who can put on a show. If you’re interested it’s too late to register now so just turn up and perform. Normal busking rules apply, please don’t hog one spot, take your turn and move on.
