Two smaller linked events happened on Saturday 9th May 2026 and we called it &#8220;The Little Green Men Day&#8221;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Tithe Barn Workshops held a Folk Fringe event in their gardens. All the lovely artisan workshops were open, there was live music, bar, fast food and a few Morris dancers popped in as well.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The town&#8217;s five Morris sides (<a href=\"https:\/\/bathampton.dance\">Bathampton Morris<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/bathampton.dance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/bathampton.dance\">Men<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bellsangelsmorris.wordpress.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bells<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/bellsangelsmorris.wordpress.com\">\u00a0Angels,<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/84195656365\/\">Holt\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/84195656365\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Morris<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/moonrakersmorris.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Moonrakers<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/moonrakersmorris.org\">\u00a0Border Morris<\/a> and Towpath Morris) danced at a few locations around the town as shown on the poster. The wonderful Towpath Shanty Singers performed at 11.45am in Lamb Yard. It was a beautiful sunny day &#8211; as always &#8211; and we actually had a lot of spectators, even though we only advertised it in town.
