We&#8217;ve been flooded by requests to keep it alive so we decided to try bring back a small event in 2026 but even that has proved too much. As soon as it becomes an &#8220;Event&#8221;, to which we invite people, bureaucracy kicks in. We&#8217;ll have to produce an Event Management Plan for local councils and the emergency services with risk assessments, plans for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, and an incident management plan. We have to recruit and train a team of volunteers to put those plans into action on the day. We have to pay to have a medical team, buy third party indemnity insurance&#8230;.
